Tokoinranta is a bright space refurbished in summer 2023, preserving its art nouveau style. It is suitable for meetings, training events, and workshops.
The name of the space pays tribute to a park right across the bay opposite Paasitorni. The Tokoinranta park is a popular meeting place for local people. It was named after Oskari Tokoi whose incredible life you can read about from the story link below.
The layout of the Tokoinranta room is identical to conference rooms Pitkäsilta and Merihaka. The works of the young street photographer Kasperi Kropsu bring added character to the space.
Few people have played as many and as conflicting roles in their lives as Oskari Tokoi. He was even sentenced to death, twice – and by two different parties.
