For nearly a decade, Paasitorni’s interior and exterior have undergone stunning renovations.
The work is now complete – and the building is more beautiful than ever.
New exterior
This year, the stones on the façade of Paasitorni were beautifully restored. The original stones, over a century old, were carefully removed, cleaned, and then reinstalled. The underlying wall structures were replaced at the same time. The work was completed ahead of schedule, and our tower is now fully restored to its original appearance, poised for another century of service.
Stunning interiors
Over the last ten years, our interiors have been thoughtfully and sustainably renovated in collaboration with the design agency KOKO3. The meeting rooms, lobbies, and restaurants have been transformed with a stunning new design that honours their original spirit. At the same time, the facilities have been upgraded to meet the latest technological standards. Finally, the rooms named after notable figures in Finnish history – Juho Rissanen, Karl Lindahl and Tarja Halonen – underwent renovations last summer.
Three themes to choose from
The spaces available for booking at Paasitorni are divided into three themes: Art Nouveau, Modern and Inspiration. A building rich with stories
Paasitorni is full of countless stories. This is now literally true, as the renovated spaces include storyboards sharing tales connected to each area, the building and the surrounding neighbourhood.
